Greece has introduced its national framework for the implementation of the EU AI Act through Law 5321/2026. The new legislation designates the competent supervisory authorities, establishes new AI governance structures and a regulatory sandbox, introduces enforcement mechanisms, and creates specific obligations for public sector bodies using AI systems. It also addresses transparency requirements for AI-generated content and deepfakes.
